Throughout the game, several NPCs will help you to progress in your magical practice. They will teach you special spells, sometimes simply by talking to them, but others may ask you to help with some projects. Don't be concerned if some of them refuse to speak to you in your first encounter with them, as that only means you still need to practice and progress in your magical skills.
